Riverside Superior Court Bargaining Update

better-contract-horizonx595.jpg
Riverside County Superior Court employees are negotiating with management to improve their contract.
They are making progress on some issues, but management is proposing takeaways that the Bargaining Team just can’t live with.
»  Management wants to decrease the number of step level increases from two to one.
»  Management wants to cap the accrual of our paid time off at 480 hours across the board.

SEIU 721’s Priorities
The Bargaining Team has countered management’s proposed takeaways and will hold the line for a fair contract. Our top priorities are:
»  Winning more subsidies for healthcare plans. The employer should increase its contributions to cover rising premium costs.
»  Winning better language for bonuses.
»  Winning more job protections and standing strong on retirement.
