Photo Gallery: United for Our Future Flag Day Rally

On Flag Day, members of SEIU Local 721 and LIUNA Local 777 along with the Community Action Coalition, a community group made of workers, clergy and political leaders, joined together for a rally on the steps of the Riverside County Administration Center and the Larson Justice Center in Indio, Tuesday, June 14, to recognize the hard-working middle class families and the public services they provide.
In recent years, Riverside County workers have faced significant challenges as furloughs, cuts to wages and services have pushed the American Dream farther away for more than 9,000 families. As the County addresses a $24.8 million deficit, workers are partnering with community members to promote other solutions to solve the budget deficit in a way that honors middle class families. Currently, members of SEIU 721 and LIUNA 777 are in negotiations with Riverside County management.
