Serving the Public at the Feria Campesina in Oxnard

On July 24, 2011 SEIU 721 sponsored the Feria Campesina/Farmworkers Fair in Oxnard. The event reached out to Ventura County farmworkers by offering information on labor law enforcement, health checks, and information on housing and job development. 
The fair also included youth boxing matches, a youth mariachi band, and a Bracero exhibit by California State University at Channel Islands.
Many of the booths were staffed by SEIU 721 members from different public service agencies.  As always, our members serve the public and help enrich the community by providing vital services.
