SEIU 721 members and their families from all over the region enjoyed a beautiful autumn day at Whittier Narrows Regional Park, Saturday, Oct. 26, for the annual SEIU 721 Assembly and Family Fun Day.
Those gathered ate freshly grilled hamburgers and hot dogs as they listened to a live band. Kids played catch, got their face painted and bounced in glee in the several bounce houses provided.
SEIU 721 President Bob Schoonover delivered remarks following the introduction of Executive Board Members and Vice President Linda Dent provided an update on Los Angeles County bargaining and encouraged more members to bring their co-workers to next year’s event.
“We have had some hard fought victories at the bargaining table all over our region this past year. Now we need LA County members to stay fired up and ready to go in support of winning a strong contract.”
