City of Riverside Reaches Tentative Contract Agreement, Members to Vote

SEIU 721 City of Riverside bargaining team led discussions with City leaders that has produced a negotiated tentative agreement between SEIU 721 and the City of Riverside. The team, along with the leadership of the Public Works/Solid Waste Chapter, is pleased to recommend a YES
vote for the ratification of the tentative agreement.
Members in good standing for the Sanitation Unit are encouraged to vote Tuesday, May 17
.  Members in good standing for the General Unit will vote on Wednesday, May 18
. This agreement is for both the General and Sanitation Units. Copies of the TA will be at polling places or click here to download.

• Corp Yard – 8095 Lincoln (Blue room)  –  6 a.m. – 1 p.m.
• SEIU Local 721 Union Hall – 4336 Market Street – 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Wednesday, May 18
• Riverside City Hall – 3900 Main Street (Breezeway) – 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
• Sewer Plant – 5950 Acorn (OPS break room)  – 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
• Corp Yard – 8095 Lincoln (Blue room)  –  6 a.m. – 1 p.m.
• Public Utilities – Vine Street (Poe building)  –     7 a.m. – 9 a.m.
• SEIU Local 721 Union Hall – 4336 Market Street – 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Members are welcome to observe the tallying of Sanitation ballots Tuesday, May 17, beginning at 5 p.m. at  SEIU Local 721 Union Hall – 4336 Market Street, Riverside, CA 92501. Tallying of the General Unit votes will occur on Wednesday, May 18, at the same location and members are welcome.
