Harbor Regional Center Workers, Parents, and Clients: “We’re Fighting for Quality Services”

300x200.hrc.moms.kids.jpgThe rally highlighted the challenges parents and workers face to improving services for developmentally-disabled clients at Harbor Regional Center. Employees have been meeting with management since November to negotiate a new contract that will allow them to improve services.
The coalition stood in a unified show of support for bilingual outreach and other critically-needed services to those with developmental disabilities. They are urging management to live up to the center’s mission of being flexible, accessible, responsive and community-based.
