100 Days of Corporate GIVEAWAYS
President Trump’s first 100 days in office have shocked America. During his campaign, Russian intelligence operatives reportedly manipulated Donald Trump’s lack of knowledge and experience to further their nation’s policy objectives. Now, some of the country’s biggest corporations and their lobbyists are exploiting the same weaknesses to roll back laws and regulations they don’t like, cut their own taxes and, in some cases, use the Office of the President to enrich themselves — all at the expense of ordinary working people and taxpayers.
The Fight Is Just Beginning
The election on November 8th should have been a triumph for working people and our country. Instead it was a tragedy.
On August 31st, SEIU 721 partnered with L.A. County to host the second countywide Los Angeles Health Agency Town Hall with the newly created Los Angeles Health Partnership.

Sisters and brothers: As you read these words, we’re less than 70 days away from the most important election many of us will see in our lifetimes.
Our top story this month is the victory by San Bernardino Professionals, a textbook example of how member leadership can use the “Power of Purple” — our union’s deep resources; our experienced negotiators; our skilled team of attorneys, researchers, and communications experts; and our relationships with community, clergy, and political leaders — to win game-changing wins at the bargaining table.
