Latest Victory in Worker-Led Organizing at Nation’s Largest Disability Service Provider

Yesterday, after an unprecedented statewide campaign that saw workers from across California demand the right to form a union with SEIU, over 300 ResCare workers joined the ranks of SEIU Local 721 after their union was officially recognized.


Tri-Counties Members and Community Stand Up to Make Oxnard a Safe City

In response to draconian anti-immigrant measures being enacted nationwide by the Trump Administration, over 400 SEIU Local 721 members joined community activists and concerned families at last night’s Oxnard City Council meeting to demand that authorities make Oxnard a “Safe City” for all people living there.


Contract Settlement* Raises Up ALL of LA County!

SEIU Local 721 and the County of Los Angeles have reached a Tentative Agreement on a new three-year contract. Detailed tentative agreement summaries, including significant gains on bargaining unit specific issues, will be available soon. At as many worksites as possible, membership meetings will be held to review the tentative agreements prior to the ratification vote. More information on ratification coming very soon, stay tuned.
