Workers in Cities and District Looking to Restore Vital Services
SEIU 721 members in cities and districts across the Tri-Counties region are gearing up for bargaining campaigns to restore vital services, to make their communities healthier and safer and to win fair contracts with affordable healthcare and retirement security.
Thanks to SEIU member leadership, the Tri-Counties Regional Center has received additional funding from the State of California (ABX2-1 funds) and a large portion of those funds are required to be used for employee salaries. Salary increases are key to retaining the experienced professionals that our communities need to serve families with disabilities.
SEIU 721 members in the City of Simi Valley voted overwhelmingly to ratify the tentative agreement with a 97% Yes vote.
