On April 17, most of America’s wealthiest citizens will stop paying Social Security taxes. Once the payroll contribution cap of $117,000 is reached, millionaires and billionaires stop paying into the system, while the vast majority of Americans pay on all of their salary – all year long.


Commemorating the Armenian Genocide in Sacramento

On April 6, leaders of SEIU 721’s Armenian Caucus traveled to the Sacramento to attend the 99th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. They participated in a series of commemorative events, including a vigil and meetings with supportive elected officials.

LA City Members: Update on Dependent Coverage in Flex

TCRC Members Make a Difference at the Aut2Run Race in Camarillo

SEIU Local 721 and Tri-Counties Regional Center (TCRC) teamed up to sponsor TCRC members for the 2nd Annual Aut2Run event in Camarillo on Sunday, April 6. Aut2Run is a charity 5K, 10K, 15K and Fun run charity race organized by the Autism Society of Ventura County.
