SEIU 721 Members Earn a Living Wage at St. John’s

On March 13, St. John’s Well Child and Family Center and SEIU 721 announced a groundbreaking collective bargaining agreement that will provide a living wage of $15 an hour to front-line healthcare workers providing care in some of South Los Angeles’ poorest communities. Council Member Curren Price Jr. and Supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas also attended the event to show their support and share their hope that more workers in Los Angles start making a living wage.



Were You Disciplined During the LA County Strike?

On March 5, SEIU 721 resolved their dispute over unfair labor practices charges during the strike with LA County. The County stated that all union members have the right to participate in concerted, collective activities, including the types of activities engaged in during the contract campaign.
